Reply To: How to show view where a tag matches a custom field value of containing template

I still can't figure this out. Here's where I'm stuck:

Inside my outer level content template, I can call the view like this:

[wpv-view name="Reviews-4BikePage" wpvmodel="R1200GS"]

and it will list all the the reviews which have "R1200GS" as one of the tags associated with the review.

Also, if I choose to display (for debugging) the value of [wpv-post-field name="model"] in my content template, it will be correctly displayed as "R1200GS" (without the quotes, of course.

However, I can't seem to figure out how to pass that value to the shortcode. This syntax doesn't work:

[wpv-view name="Reviews-4BikePage" wpvmodel='[wpv-post-field name="model"]']

What have I done wrong here?
