Reply To: [Waiting for user confirmation] Eliminate render blocking JavaScript ans CSS

My updates page says all plugins are up to date, but I went to http://wp-types.com/my-account/downloads/ and downloaded new version. To update, is it safe to just deactivate and delete old files and then upload new and reactivate?
