Simple Permalink Question

Hey! I'm building a furniture site and I have a Taxonomy called "Furniture Category", and a sample slug currently is:

http://www.mysite.com/furniture-category/sofas/

is there anyway I can make it like this:

http://www.mysite.com//living-room/sofas/

ie: NOT using the slug "furniture-category" in the URL? Or using the category instead?
