I want to set up a Directory/Classifieds type site on the following principles …
To explain myself, please go to … gumtree.co.uk to see how they are doing it:
- they show a number of Categories with Sub-categories listed (page body)
- these are the total listing for the entire UK
- now … look at the left menu
- they have menus for "Cities" and " United Kingdom"
- ignore the "Cities" option …
- look at the " United Kingdom" option …
- it has Menu/Sub-menu for England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland with their respective cities
- click "Scotland"
- click "Aberdeen"
- it now shows a filtered version of the Categories/Sub-categories for Aberdeen only
Can someone please guide me how to set that up with Types & Views?
