With Views 1.2.2, you can edit the file embedded/common/wp-pointer.php and change lines 45 and 46 to read:

         wp_enqueue_script( 'wpv-wp-pointer' , plugin_dir_url(__FILE__) . '/res/js/wpv-wp-pointer.js', array());
          wp_enqueue_style( 'wpv-wp-pointer' , plugin_dir_url(__FILE__) . '/res/css/wpv-wp-pointer.css', array());
