Yes, the View Template does work without the form in it.
In editing the view template, Jetpack's icon for adding the contact form does not work. The pop-up window appears and I click to add the form but it does not add it.
I did try adding the shortcode manually. The view template still worked and the form showed ok but did not work in that when clicking submit the page just refreshed, no confirmation message and did not send email.
I have attached the console debug
