Thank you for the detailed response. However, from what i saw this is not quite what I am after.
While I am evaluating the wp-types platform I setup a bookshop example site. I created an additional custom field 'subjects' under the Group Name 'book review'. Under subjects I have just added a few for demo purposes: History, Literature, Philosophy, Science. When building this form, these subjects would be presented in a drop down list that allows me to select one subject. Now for this example lets say I want to add a new Group Name 'book of the month' where I list a book each month. One of the custom fields would be 'subjects' which should be identical to the subjects field used in the Group Name 'book review'. Again, they should be presented in a dropdown along with the other form fields for 'book of the month'
If I ever add any new subjects, I want these to be reflected in both Group Names – 'book review' and 'book of the month'. I don't want to have to update both lists manually for obvious reasons.
Maybe I misinterpreted your response – but it doesn't quite look like your suggestion would help me achieve the above result.
