If statements

Is it possible to place an if statement within the html area of a view?

The reason is simple. I am making a custom post type for a food menu. Part of the food menu for toppings renders as follows

CHEESE __________________Grated mature Cheddar

JALAPEÑOS _______________Red/green

GUACAMOLE

SALSA

So what I need to do is say if user specifies none in the varities field of the toppings post type, then do not render the line _________
