So I decided to move forward. Transferred all files and folders to the Root of the site, and updated the database to remove any references to my DEV site. Excitedly, I go to the homepage and … the site is broken – actually its Views and Types including the Viewbase template which is broken. The template refused to load the Custom CSS I had created (though they are there in the file custom.css) lost its logo and had the header image on when I had previously removed it.
The home page is taking forever to load. In fact, all it loads is the header. All views refuse to load – anywhere on the site. I just have a blank page. I searched, and searched and searched for hours on end today, and all I came across where posts with the same problem but which remain unanswered as to what the problem is.

I tried this move twice – but nothing happens. I get the same problem. I checked the WP config files, database ad naseum, and many files from types and views to find a solution – Nada!
So please, could someone address this very very urgently and perhaps post the actual solution here on the forum as a Trobleshooting feature.
