CRED form email remove tags

Hello,

I'm trying to add Custom Field contents to a CRED email after a user has submitted a form, the problem is that the editor always seems to add <p> tags around all contents. This causes the Custom Fields to lose their shortcode effects, is it possible to remove these <p> tags?
