I think there's always going to be difficulties with supporting polylang. Polylang is providing functions with names the same as those we call when using WPML. The problem is that polylang is not doing a full emulation of these functions so is failing during those calls.
We've spent a lot of time make sure that everything can be translated via WPML. This is not just translating the main content but custom fields, etc.
We wont be adding support for Polylang. The only thing we will be able to do is to modify our plugins to make sure Polylang doesn't break the website when you are using our plugins. Unfortunately these fixes wont be done immediately and will take some time.
