control other plugin's custom post type with types

I know I can add other custom fields created by another plugin to Types field control. Is it possible to add a post type created by another plugin to Types control? I don't want this other post type to have feeds, pages or archives, but can't figure out how to turn those off the way I can with other post types created with Types.
