CRED e-mail notification to author not working

I'm running the latest (non beta) releases of CRED (V1.2.5) and WP Views (V1.5.1)

I cannot get the CRED e-mail 'Send notification to author' to work.

Also (if I send e-mail to a specific address) if I put [wpv-post-author] into the e-mail text, the author's username does not appear in the received e-mail.

Is this a known bug?
