So there I am, rocking out with my new Views-created code and having a blast – I'm making custom post types, content templates, setting up my first Views page…and it renders the grid in a table? A non-responsive table? In 2014? Seriously? For something with such amazing functionality in so many other areas, that's just…weird.
I tried to search through this forum to see what others have done since I KNOW I can't be the only person for whom this is a big fat problem, but it seems I can't sort the responses by date, which means I was combing through a bunch of attempted solutions from a few years ago when I know that more elegant code exists now.
I've spent more time than I'd care to admit now trying to hack in some CSS, use shortcodes and/or and pretend I know how to write Javascript, but I'm not happy with anything I've come up with so far. I can get something that starts at four columns and collapses to one, but what I'd really like is something truly responsive that would expand to fill however large the viewer's screen is and then collapse column by column as needed.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a solution? I'd be incredibly grateful.
