How do I use checkbox in parametric search with pre-existing custom field?

Hi,

I have some pre-existing custom fields that have been created via the theme I'm using (Appthemes' Vantage theme). For example, I have a custom field called 'Electric Available', and if this is set within the theme's own form input, it stores the value as 'Yes' on wp_postsmeta with meta_key = app_electric-available and meta_value = 'Yes'.

I am trying to build a parametric search using Types/Views. I have been able to add this custom field to my search, but I don't understand how I am supposed to tell it that if the user checks the checkbox, then it should pass app_electric-available=Yes to the search. Currently it is doing the search with 'app_electric-available=' and so it's failing. If I add the Yes to the url and refresh, I get the results I want…so I just need to know what I'm supposed to do in Views to tell it to assign 'Yes' if checked?

I have spent probably 4 hours searching the types.com documentation and forums for this answer and can't find it….please could you help me out?

Thanks.
