Hi. I've made great progress! I now have the CPTs showing in a responsive grid (i replaced the table layout with div tags) and each item is linked to it's proper pdf file that opens in a new window.

here's my issue: i want the category links in the side bar to return the patents that are in that particular category, displayed the same way all the patents are shown. Right now, the category links connect to a category page that doesn't show the content. what is the best way to accomplish what i want?
