Thanks. I got it to sort-of work on a clean WP install with Types 1.5.4 and Views 1.5.1. However, I have a couple simple questions…
1. I am not able to see the user fields (WP or types) when I am in Content Template and click on 'V'. Only way I can see user fields is from View Layout and clicking on the Fields button. This does not see correct.
2. I am confused which shortcode to use for displaying a types custom user field. Views Shortcode Reference and other new documentation for Types/Views 1.5.x shows to use [wpv-user field="xxxxx"] for WP user fields and to use [wpv-user wpcf-custom-user-field] for types user fields. But, if I use the Insert Shortcode mode in the View Layout, it uses [types usermeta="custom-user-field"][/types]. The only difference I see is that, if I add a custom WYSIWYG field to user profile, using [wpv-user wpcf-custom-user-field] does not correctly display <p> tags. But, if I use [types usermeta="custom-user-field"][/types] then it does correctly display <p> tags.
I emailed login credentials to you so you can examine the contents of my view and content template.
Thanks,
Jeff Safire
