Caridad, you're a star! Thank you very much for figuring this out. Simple Custom Post Type Archives was a plugin that a previous developer had created to create nice archive links for custom post types before WP supported this natively. I went back and re-wrote the old code to use the native functionality, disabled the plugin, and now everything is working. Great! Thanks again!
