Reply To: [Waiting for user feedback] loosing relations between custom post types when post date is future or a draft

Sorry for my delay answering, but I was out till now (22:16 Barcelona's time)

There is'nt WPML plugin on this site now, because there is only one language at the moment. Other plugins installed are:

- Email this page
- Featured video
- Mailchimp
- Twitter widget pro
- WordPress importes
- WordPress Popular Posts
- WordPress Post Type Archive Links
- WP RSS images

But testing a little more, I've realised that things are now a little better than I said on my first post today. So if user create a new post (a custom post type, "Artículos Altavoz") and save it as draft or program in the future, user can attach new relationed posts, but only if he does from the parent edit screen. This relationed posts will be remain relationed after saving the post.

But still is not possible :

a) Create the subposts in its own interface (in my case exampe, we can't create Entrevistados by its own UI) and related from there to a post that is in draft or future status, simply because these posts are not displayed in the dropdown select, there are only the published posts of "Artículos Altavoz".
b) Inside the parent post type (Artículos Altavoz) choose the child posts that yet exists. This would be a great improvement, because I think this has never been possible to do, but correct me if I'm wrong.

So, at this moment, the user can do the task but not in the same conditions that if the parent post was published. Do you think a) can be done in the near future? Do you plan to do b) in some new release?

Thanks in advance! :)
