Views Limit and Offset short code?

Hello, I have a view set up.

[wpv-view name="myView"]

I would like to have a limit without having to create multiple Views. Is something like this possible:

[wpv-view name="myView" limit='5']

Tried searching and checking docs. Others have asked for this and I saw a reply that it would be avaiable in 1.3.
