Hi Caridad,

Thanks for responding so quickly. Here's what I'm trying to do, specifically.

Using Types and Views, I've created a new searchable/filterable database of filmmaking apps for my website handheldhollywood.com (the new database is hidden while I make the final tweaks). I've created three associated taxonomies for my new 'App' post type ('device', 'category' and 'criteria'), and they are used much like tags. For example, one database entry might only have "iPad" tagged in the device taxonomy, while another entry might have "iPhone" and "iPad" tagged. Users can filter the search results using pop-up displays of these three taxonomies. The results are displayed using a custom View & View Template (see attached image for an example of three database entries).

There are three existing tags in the 'CRITERIA' taxonomy ('Must Have', 'Featured in HHH Book', and 'Recently Added'). Each app is tagged with one or more of these tags (or none of them). When search results are displayed, I'd like each entry to include tiny icons that represent each of the CRITERIA tags. For example, if an entry is tagged with 'Must Have', I want the View Template to display a tiny image of a gold star. I was able to set up something like this, but it only worked if only ONE of the three tags were applied. In other words, if the CRITERA taxonomy for a given entry was 'Must Have', it would work. But, if the CRITERA taxonomy for that entry was 'Must Have, Featured in HHH Book, Recently Added', it would not. I could only match exact strings. I don't know how to search for a string within a string using conditional HTML. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Again, I apologize for using what I'm sure is incorrect terminology. I'm learning this as I go, and I'm just trying to learn enough to complete this app directory. Please let me know if I need to explain this more clearly.

Thank you for your time!

Best,
Taz
