Hi Adriano, welcome on board . And THANK YOU for having the solution!! You don't know how HAPPY I am!
First, I read your post (http://wp-types.com/2013/10/conditional-display-of-parent-posts-in-cred/). I realized again after reading I'm one of the less abled developers, and I really must start learning PHP and jQuery.
So, I don't understand your code, but the 'clone' pratice you suggested makes a BIG difference.
Because of your code:
- the value of the input radio is no longer the 'title' anymore, so when people now hover the stars they don't see any strange title anymore;
- the radio button in Types that I marked as 'standard value' is now working, so the stars will show the same amount of stars as I have chosen as 'standard value'.
One thing is not working yet.
You said:
As I can see the problem is that the CRED field has been replaced and just some events has not been passed – including requered.
So, in the situation I don't choose one of the radio buttons in Types as a 'standard value', people should get a warning they forget to choose a rating. This is because in Types I have told this is 'required'. But that's not working yet.
You can try it yourself at:
http://caesarsbeauty.nl/schrijf-review/?parent_page_id=17
As you can see you get a warning for all parts of the cred form, except the star rating.
Kind regards,
Happy Willem
