Show post_content in views

hello

this should be supereasy, but i can't figure it out: how does one show the generic field "post_content" (the default description of a type) in a content template, views?

[wpv-post-body] shows the whole article, but i need only the description.

[wpv-post-field name="post_content"][/wpv-post-field] doesnt show anything either.

in general, how do i get generic fields in content templates?
