No we are not talking the same. As I mentioned before the problem is NOT the Reviews but the Owners Reply. I know its a bit confusing but let me try and explain again as best I can.
I have three custom post types as follows.
Directory Listings (Main)
|———————— Reviews (child of directory listings)
|———————————-Owners Replies (child of reviews)
Directory Listings: is owned by a business owner
Reviews: A review ANYONE who is logged in may post
Owners Reply: Only the owner of the Directory Listins can reply to a review
I have no problem with Directory Listings nor Reviews. My problem is Reply because I cannot get it to work for Only the owner of the Directory Listing to reply to the review. Using my image attachments as examples you will see:
In logged_in_as_you.jpg you are the owner of the listing but cannot post a reply to the review.
In logged_in_as_reviewer.jpg, the logged in person is the same person who posted the review, and they can reply to their own review using the Owners Reply link (I marked it in red).
This has to work the other way around.
