Who to send a personal question to?

Hi all, I have a question regarding XML API integration with toolset. I need to end sample files to someone but since they are confidential, I need an email address. I already have Cardida, Luoy and Emerson. Who is the best contact to send these to for an opinion?

Cheers

HI Caridad,

Still not working. Where did you get the view ID of 24 from? Should I change this? I changed it to the view ID in my setup and it shows nothing, while with id 24 the results are shown but not sorted. I have the value save 0 if unchecked

For example, structure:
Impact (WP page)
—Impact Stories (CPT)

You can create a CPT Impact Stories with Types, set it as a child CPT of a page CPT
Then when you edit a Impact Stories (CPT) post, you will find a field table where you can choose parent page, set it as Impact

parent/child relationships can be applied to CPT and wordpress build-in post types "post" & "page".

I am in GMT+8 area

Change page layout Custom Post Type

Dear friends,
First of all, sorry about my poor english. I'm from Brazil.
I'm using the Types and Views plugin in a site with a theme who uses a big slider in its pages and posts, but these sliders can be disabled according our will, by setting up the page settings like the following image attached.
But when I load a single page of a custom post type, these settings doesn't appear, and the slider cannot be disable.
The page is: http://www.todeschinisorocaba.com.br/site/empreendimento/condominio-teste-vida-nova/
How can I make the page settings appear when configuring a template?

Thanks in advance

Maybe I'm doing something wrong still.

In my CPT called Impact Stories, under the Post Relationship section, for "Children" I checked the "Page" box. Is that correct?

Next I open one of the Impact Story posts, I see the Fields Table, but no dropdown menu to select the built-in WordPress page called "Impact" that I created. I want the Impact Story posts to be children of the Impact page. You say that it's possible to create parent/child relationships among Types CPTs and built-in WordPress posts and pages, but I can't figure it out…

The URL structure I'm trying to achieve is this:

domain.com/impact/impact-story/title-of-story <- singular
domain.com/impact/impact-stories/ <- archive

Again, the Impact page is a built-in wordpress page. How do I assign it as the parent of all Impact Story posts?

I'm attaching a screen grab of the Fields Table.

Thanks for you patience.

Hi,
I have a custom role of WP level 3 with the rights to add/edit/delete a specific CPT. On the Add new CPT form I hid the div with the id=postbox-container-1, where the Categories and Tags divs are located. I kept this div hidden for two weeks. During this time, new users with the custom role registered on the site, and obviously they could not see the hidden div. Today my client decided that he still needs the Categories and Tags to be assigned to the CPT, so I've enabled them.
Users registered before I first hid the div can again see it and apply tags and categories to their entries, likewise users registered today. But users registered under the period when the div was hidden can still not see it now, after I've enabled it again.
Thank you for your fast answer!

Hi benB,

It isn't possible to create such a child taxonomy within Types.

I suggest you try create another custom taxonomy for "Attraction Type"

I'm not sure I follow. Here's the code for the overarching View that lists the Cities Taxonomy:

[wpv-layout-start]
<!-- wpv-loop-start -->
   <wpv-loop>
      <h2>[wpv-taxonomy-title]</h2>[wpv-view name="List: Podcasts by City"]
   </wpv-loop>
<!-- wpv-loop-end -->
[wpv-no-taxonomy-found][wpml-string context="wpv-views"]<strong>No taxonomy found</strong>[/wpml-string][/wpv-no-taxonomy-found]
[wpv-layout-end]

And here is the code for the child View, which lists the Podcast Episodes from the City of the Parent View:

[wpv-layout-start]
[wpv-posts-found]
<!-- wpv-loop-start -->
   <ul>
      <wpv-loop>
         <li><li>[wpv-post-body view_template="List: Date, Author (for Podcasts)"]</li></li>
      </wpv-loop>
   </ul>
<!-- wpv-loop-end -->
[/wpv-posts-found]
[wpv-no-posts-found][wpml-string context="wpv-views"]<ul><li>Coming soon...</li></ul>
[/wpml-string][/wpv-no-posts-found]
[wpv-layout-end]

What are you suggesting that I do?

How Use CRED to Create Simple CRUD?

Hi. I have license for the complete Toolset, including CRED. I have read the documentation and tutorials. I understand how to use Types/Views. I understand how to use CRED. However, I do not understand how to put them all together to create a simple CRUD system like in attached image below.

Any assistance or tutorials would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Chuck

Both.

The admin can create an event and assign a venue to it. However, the user can also use a front end form to create their own events and they will have to select a venue for it as well.

Reply To: [Waiting for user feedback] Hide Comments in a CPT ("Hide comments when displaying this form" not working)

Thanks for answering so fast.
The thing is that, I want to hide comments in a Custom Post Type. Really not in "one", but in all of them. When I created the CRED Form, I checked the "hide comments when displaying this form" option, and actually, in the page where I embedded the form, shows no comments. But, when a user sees the single info of any of those Custom Post Types, the comments area is shown (it is not a page, but a CPT, so there is no "Screen options" tab).

A registered user, can individually hide the comments (from inside the Admin panel), but that is something I don't want. I wish there were no comments shown, but not selecting that option individually, but globally… as if it was part of the template…

Thanks again, I hope you have chance to help me …
Apologies for my English… I am a spanish speaking person.
